Come and explore by horseback this beautiful place where Aspen Lodge resides. Our trails meander though our own lodge pole pine forest and continue through the adjoining Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest. Choose a one-hour ride or test your equestrian endurance on an all day lunch ride. For the advanced rider, don't miss out your chance to canter at the Elk Park Ranch.
The summer fun includes Breakfast Rides, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides and Cowboy Suppers. Get your whole family together and enjoy the western experience of a wagon ride pulled by our beautiful Belgian draft horse. Enjoy a fabulous meal from the grill at a Cowboy Supper out on the trail.
Summer Horseback Riding
1 Hour ride (walking) ~ $35
2 Hour Lodge ride (walking) ~ $50
3 Hour ride (walking) ~ $70
3 Hour Lunch Ride with sack lunch. ~ $80

Romantic Ride
Add a little Rocky Mountain romance on your own private horse drawn wagon ride for two and enjoy a bottle of champagne or even stop to propose. ~ $150
Wedding Ceremony
For a little western touch on your special day, hire our Horse Drawn Wagon to ferry your guests up to your ceremony site in the forest.
(maximum 12 people per wagon) ~ $150 per wagon run

For all riding, please arrive at Aspen Lodge Livery 30 minutes prior to ride time for orientation and paperwork. Minimum age is 8 years old for all rides. Aspen Lodge Ranch Resort reserves the right to cancel rides due to weather or trail conditions. 24 hour cancellation policy - no shows will be charged in full. Schedule and prices subject to change.
