Ice Skating near Estes Park
Imagine yourself gliding effortlessly across a mirrored surface in the Rocky Mountains near Estes Park. The lake at Aspen Lodge, surrounded by spectacular mountains and snow covered trees is an ice skating experience that you will never forget!
On an average year, our lake at Aspen Lodge is good for ice skating until the middle of March. With two acres of ice, there is plenty of room for everyone. Rental skates are available at the Aspen Lodge Activity Center, $4 for 4 hours.

Hockey & Broomball at Aspen Lodge
For those of you interested in team sports, how about an invigorating game of hockey or broomball? Broomball is similar to hockey but played in boots and using brooms instead of hockey sticks. If you’ve never tried broomball, be sure to check it out when visiting Aspen Lodge this winter!
Brooms, balls and sticks are available at no charge for our guests at the Aspen Lodge Activity Center.
