The Tahosa Valley is a sacred place, located between Longs Peak on the west and Twin Sisters on the east. "It's the unity of 'yin and yang' of the muscular power of Longs Peak and the feminine softness of Twin Sisters," explained Yun Xiang Tseng (Master Chen), the new owner of the Aspen Lodge.

"The Aspen Lodge property is located between the nurturing mountains, on a property that is very mystical, with a history of native ancestors. It is a very sacred land," said Chen.

Aspen Lodge owner Chen hopes one day to build a Taoist temple on the property near Estes Park

Since immigrating to the United States from China in 1990, Yun Xiang Tseng -- Chen, as he is known -- has had one goal in mind. He's a little bit closer to that goal since buying the Aspen Lodge Resort & Spa this spring. He now has a place to build his goal, but in the meantime he's got a business to run.
